THE FOOD!
It's a party, so there has to be food. Lots and lots of food!! Ok, so, maybe it's just me who likes to have enough food to feed the whole queen's court, but if you are having food, why not make it reinforce your party theme? It's likely you have seen those cute little pizzas made out of biscuits. How about taking them one step further and making them in the shape of a heart? Simply roll out the biscuits, use a large cookie cutter and - ta da! - Queen of Hearts pizzas!
Every first birthday has to have something
for the guest-of-honor to smash! How about a
topsy turvy cake?
After all, everything is a bit upside down in ONEderland
- including these flower pots shown in the background.
Simply turn them upside down and paint them.
The pots make adorable stands for plates of food,
or simply used as a decoration.
Cheshire cat tails. I have seen different ways of
making these, but for this method, I just skewered some
marshmallows onto a candy stick and then used a fork to drizzle

white chocolate between each marshmallow before
giving them a good coat of purple sprinkles. I LOVE
how they turned out, and creating them this way isn't
very messy at all - always a plus!

and "Drink Me" tags for the drinks for
an easy - and practically free - decoration.

Simple chicken salad sandwiches get spruced up when
plated as a checkerboard. The little sandwiches can also be
shaped like teapots, cups, hearts and diamonds. Just cut the bread
with cookie cutters before adding the filling. So. Stinkin'. Cute!

I stacked a little marshmallow with
a strawberry on top and then dotted it with chocolate
that was left over from the cat tails (shown above).
You could do the same thing with
balls of mozzarella cheese and halved

a bed of spinach around the bottom as the grass.

a few playing cards in. Paint the roses pink!
EASY DECORATING
Grab keys and bottles at your local dollar store
or craft store to create little "Drink Me!" bottles
to nestle in throughout the party space.
No money needed for this beautiful display!

Think playing cards, tea pots, cups, and - since no
respectable White Rabbit would be late to a tea party -
some clock faces to help keep everyone on time.
