Follow the white rabbit to ONEderland!

Venture down the rabbit hole for a truly magical first birthday party! Make this poster the centerpiece of your party, and everything else will fall into place around it. Each poster is customized with your little one's favorite toys, things she loves, what she eats and words she says by her first birthday. Want one for your party? IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS
Now that you have the perfect party centerpiece, let's look at a few ways to make this birthday truly magical!
THE INVITES!

Don't be late for this very important date! Have a photo you would like to display of your little one? The white rabbit can help announce your special event with this "Don't be late" digital invite. Any horizontal photo will work, but snapping a picture of your little one's expression as she peeks through the looking glass, really helps reinforce the theme.

Don't want to use a photo? No problem! Check out these ONEderland invites created to coordinate back to the milestone poster!

The best part? Either way you go, you receive a digital file, making it easy to print the exact number of invitations you need. Or if you are looking to get the word out even faster, simply email the file to all of your guests and summon them to ONEderland!

THE FOOD!

It's a party, so there has to be food. Lots and lots of food!! Ok, so, maybe it's just me who likes to have enough food to feed the whole queen's court, but if you are having food, why not make it reinforce your party theme? It's likely you have seen those cute little pizzas made out of biscuits. How about taking them one step further and making them in the shape of a heart? Simply roll out the biscuits, use a large cookie cutter and - ta da! - Queen of Hearts pizzas!

Every first birthday has to have something
for the guest-of-honor to smash! How about a
topsy turvy cake?
After all, everything is a bit upside down in ONEderland
 - including these flower pots shown in the background.
Simply turn them upside down and paint them.
The pots make adorable stands for plates of food,
or simply used as a decoration.

Cheshire cat tails. I have seen different ways of
making these, but for this method, I just skewered some
marshmallows onto a candy stick and then used a fork to drizzle
white chocolate between each marshmallow before
giving them a good coat of purple sprinkles. I LOVE
how they turned out, and creating them this way isn't
very messy at all - always a plus!

Have a baker in the family? Ask them for a helping hand.
My talented sister-in-law made these beautiful cookies!
Print "Eat Me" signs for some of the food
and "Drink Me" tags for the drinks for
an easy - and practically free - decoration.

Simple chicken salad sandwiches get spruced up when
plated as a checkerboard. The little sandwiches can also be
shaped like teapots, cups, hearts and diamonds. Just cut the bread
with cookie cutters before adding the filling. So. Stinkin'. Cute!

Are they strawberries? Are they mushrooms?
I saw a picture of something similar, which
inspired me to make these.
I stacked a little marshmallow with
a strawberry on top and then dotted it with chocolate
that was left over from the cat tails (shown above).

You could do the same thing with
balls of mozzarella cheese and halved
cherry tomatoes for the grown ups. Maybe even put
a bed of spinach around the bottom as the grass.

Add heart-shaped
sprinkles (easy to find around Valentine's Day)
to Rice Krispie Treats, to create edible
playing cards - a nod to the queen's soldiers.

Mushrooms scream ONEderland, so make sure
you have plenty of them!
These cupcakes took a magical turn
when iced with pink frosting and dotted with white
chocolate chips turned upside down.
Adorable, easy and delicious!

The Dollar Tree is my best friend for party supplies!
I found these cute potted roses there and just tucked
a few playing cards in. Paint the roses pink!

EASY DECORATING

Grab keys and bottles at your local dollar store
or craft store to create little "Drink Me!" bottles
to nestle in throughout the party space.

No money needed for this beautiful display!
Simply pull things from around your house
to make a mantle or shelf turn into
the Mad Hatter's tea party!
Think playing cards, tea pots, cups, and - since no
respectable White Rabbit would be late to a tea party -
some clock faces to help keep everyone on time.
Just glue some scrapbook paper to a file folder or cardboard
for some added support and then cut them clocks.

And, of course, don't forget the centerpiece of it all! Our milestone poster comes right to your email in a digital format. And since it's already designed in an 11x14 size, it can easily and quickly be printed at your local printer or a photo center, like Walmart.

SAY THANKS!

BUY IT HERE

Don't forget to thank your guests for partaking in the fun! The thank you notes available in my Etsy shop make it easy to say thanks! Simply print off as many as you need. Or, since it's a digital file, why not just email it to all of the guests?! Saying thank you is the perfect way to show your appreciation, while taking the theme through from start to finish.
